WashU’s Office for International Student Engagement (OISE) provides support for international students at WashU by providing a welcoming environment through programming, advocacy and cultural enrichment.

OISE services include orientation sessions for international students, cultural programs and community engagement at WashU and the St. Louis community as a whole. They provide programming to support students throughout their time at WashU. OISE works in collaboration with the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS), but the offices provide distinct services.

OISS provides comprehensive support for immigration matters. This includes issuance of immigration documents for international students, scholars and their dependents, and advisement on immigration regulations and employment authorization.
