F-1 and J-1 doctoral students have several rights and responsibilities that vary from students at other levels. In this online session via Zoom, OISS will review common questions and scenarios related to the F-1 and J-1 status that typically impact doctoral students including enrollment during and after coursework, work authorization for on- and off-campus work, research abroad, extensions and OPT ABD.
