If you become a lawful permanent resident (LPR) while studying or working at WashU, you must notify OISS so we can properly update your status. The steps you must take depend on your role(s) with the university.

- Submit a Report Change of Status request in MyOISS
- Upload a copy of both front and back of your permanent resident card (green card) within the request
- Upon receiving the request, OISS will:
- Terminate your F-1 or J-1 record in SEVIS
