In addition to orientation events scheduled by individual schools and departments, the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) and Office for International Engagement (OISE) provide orientation to all new international graduate students (master’s doctoral and professional students) who begin a WashU program at the beginning of each semester.
Fall 2025 Orientation
Required Online Immigration Course
All admitted F-1/J-1 international students should complete the required F-1/J-1 Student Immigration course prior to arrival to WashU. This online course will answer many of the questions new students have prior to arrival. After completing the course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion, which is required for your immigration check-in with the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS) upon arrival to campus for your initial semester at WashU. This is a required course.
