During the workshop, we will review the ITIN application process. If you already have an SSN, you do not need an ITIN.

Before the workshop, complete the following:

  • Immigration Check-In through MyOISS (must have been processed by OISS staff)
  • Form W-7 (complete as much as possible)

Bring your laptop and the following documents to the workshop:

  • Passport (original and 1 copy)
  • Visa stamp (original and 1 copy)
  • Most recent I-94 (2 copies)
  • Current status document (F-1 only: I-20 that says “Continued Attendance”; J-1 only: DS-2019) (original and 1 copy)
  • Stipend letter from WashU (2 copies)

At the end of the workshop, we will issue you a certification letter to include with your ITIN application. We will also provide you with instructions for next steps.
