OISE works in collaboration with the Office for International Students and Scholars (OISS), but the offices provide distinct services. OISS provides comprehensive support for immigration matters including issuance of immigration documents for international students and scholars and their dependents, advisement on immigration regulations, employment authorization, etc.
OISE, on the other hand, provides programming for international students to support international students throughout their time at WashU. New undergraduate international students will meet the OISE team during their initial days on campus during First Year International (FYI) Orientation.
